Urban Arrow, best known for front-loading family cargo bikes, has expanded into North America’s longtail category with the Breeze. The model uses 24-inch wheels and a Bosch Cargo Line motor paired with an Enviolo continuously variable hub and Gates carbon belt drive.
The rear rack is rated for up to 80 kg (176 lb), while total payload capacity reaches 200 kg (440 lb). Family-focused hardware includes a low step-through frame, dual-leg kickstand, integrated guards, Bosch Purion 200 display and modular front/rear accessory mounting. Urban Arrow North America General Manager Mark Danhof told Electrek that longtails now make up the majority of the North American cargo-bike segment.
The Breeze starts at US$6,999 in the U.S. and Canada, placing it at the premium end. For product developers, it reinforces demand for high-load frames, stable handling, low-maintenance drivetrains, family accessories and safety-oriented details in cargo e-bikes designed to replace short car trips.
