Reported information

Pinion reported that around 1,000 specialist dealers took part in the FIT X PINION 2025/2026 training tour. The programme covered 36 locations in six countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Sessions were delivered in German, Dutch, French and English.

Training combined theory and practical workshops for retailers working with Pinion MGU and FIT system integration. Topics included maintenance, diagnostics and software. Participants were also introduced to the Myagi learning portal and FIT spare-parts e-shop. Participation figures are not an independent measure of repair quality or customer satisfaction.

Industry interpretation

For importers selecting a platform, after-sales readiness belongs in the first commercial discussion. Ask who can diagnose faults, how software updates work, which parts workshops can order and when issues must be escalated.

A launch plan could pair the first bicycle shipment with workshop orientation, a spare-parts list and a named technical contact. Dealers could test the support process on sample cases before increasing orders.

The broader lesson is that sophisticated hardware is only part of the offer. Accessible instructions and workable support can be evaluated before purchase; an attractive brochure cannot demonstrate them on its own.
